AMSA Formal!

This semester we are having our first ever AMSA Formal on Friday, November 1st, 2019 from 7-11pm in The Whole in Coffman! This is a free event for all AMSA members, and you can also bring a plus one (don’t feel like you have to though!) The attire is formal/dress to impress! There will be games, lots of music and dancing, snacks, beverages, a photo booth, and more! Here is the link to sign up! Bending the Arc Documentary Screening

This Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2019,  we will have FREE Noodles & Co. at the “Bending the Arc” documentary screening. This documentary is about the global health movement to create sustainable and effective treatments and healthcare in developing countries. The film explores the push back that many of the doctors who advocated for this movement received and addresses some of the ethical dilemmas of worldwide healthcare. Run for Research 5k!

This semester we will be hosting a 5K for the Masonic Cancer Center at the University of Minnesota on October 13 at 1pm! It will cost $15 for University of Minnesota students/ faculty and $20 for community members. 100% of the money raised go to the Masonic Center Center! There is also a prize for the first place student runner- MOA donated a coupon book for every store with 2 tickets for Nickelodeon Universe and 2 tickets for mini-golf! It’s a fun way to support a good cause and do something to help others!
